Lago di Burano

From 1980 the lake is a natural reserve of the state with the naturalistic management of the WWF. That has allowed to the oasis to conserve a total environmental integrity and today it offers to the visitor the possibility to admire, from innumerable shelters, the variety of birds in a hush broken only by the decoys of the cormorant, heron, coot, flamingo and duck ecc… The lake is a coastal brackish pond separated from the sea by a thin strip of land.
