Monti dell'Uccellina

The Natural Park of Maremma was extended along the coast that goes from “Principina a Mare” until “Talamone” for approximately 100km. It preserves a wild and untouched environment, one of the most typical of Italy, that includes tilled lands, pastures, Mediterranean scrub, rock zones, pinewoods, marshlands and sandy dunes. An immense area is represented from the Mountains of the Uccellina, a chain of wills covered by a thick maquis. On the state road “Aurelia” nearby “Alberese” you can join the tourist office where leave the routes by foot and the horserides.
